Barbault Basket 2026: The Rare Alignment Changing Everything 

Let me just say, I have chills as I am writing this. Lately, I’ve been feeling like the ground is shifting underneath my feet, like things are changing so fast, it’s almost hard to keep up with. If you’re feeling this with me, you’re not imagining it. There has been so much movement Astrologically, more than humanity has seen in a long time. So far this year, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, Jupiter and Chiron have all changed signs, something that is somewhat unprecedented, considering how slow these outer planets move.

You know the saying, “As Above, So Below”? Right now, this ancient truth feels especially alive. When the planets shift signs, their energy and expression transforms. Now, this July, something truly special is happening….a special planetary pattern called the Barbault Basket. And between July 19th and 23rd, it reaches its strongest point.

This formation is created by the slow-moving outer planets — Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto — coming together in a beautiful “basket” or “cradle” shape in the sky. The brilliant French Astrologer André Barbault studied these long cycles his whole life and was unbelievably accurate with his predictions (including the fall of the Soviet Union down to exact dates in the 80’s and the timing of a major global health crisis around 2020-2021 which he wrote about in 2011). He was a master at tracking the cycles of time, using the outer planets’ movement to predict major global change.

And here’s what makes me so excited to share this… Barbault also wrote about this exact moment in July 2026. He saw it as the beginning of a new, hopeful age for humanity — a massive historical reset that will bring greater global unity, world reorganization, and a better standard of living, especially for those who’ve been struggling. He described it as ushering us into a more collective humanity focused on shared interests and mutual support for all of mankind.

Astrologically, around July 19–23 these outer planets will all be at 4 degrees, forming harmonious aspects with flowing trines and sextiles. The main tension is Jupiter opposing Pluto, which beautifully lights up the axis of “Me” vs. “We” — individual needs versus collective needs — right as the Lunar Nodes are about to shift into Aquarius and Leo on July 26th.

Meanwhile, expansive Jupiter in fiery, heart-centered Leo, rebellious Uranus in innovative Gemini, dissolving Neptune in pioneering Aries, and transformative Pluto in visionary Aquarius are all speaking to each other beautifully at this 4 degree mark. So much fire and air energy. So much creative potential.
